Our Programs
1. Smart Reader
Phonics-Based Reading Skills Development: Our Smart Reader program is a comprehensive phonics-based approach aimed at enhancing reading skills for young learners of the English language.
Why Phonics? Phonics is the foundation for reading, teaching children how to connect letters and their corresponding sounds. This skill empowers children to read independently and confidently. Here’s how the program works:
- Learning Letter Sounds: We introduce each letter with its distinct sounds, forming the fundamental building block of reading.
- Letter Formation: Using multi-sensory techniques, children learn proper letter writing and formation.
- Blending: We teach how to combine sounds to create and read new words.
- Identifying & Segmenting Sounds: Children become familiar with 42 primary sounds, including alphabet sounds and digraphs such as sh, th, ai, and ue.
- Tricky Words: Students learn irregularly spelled words that require special attention.
By mastering phonics, children build a strong reading foundation that supports their overall academic growth.
2. Dance in Education
Nurturing Creativity Through Movement: Our Dance in Education program is a unique, dynamic way to integrate physical movement with cognitive learning. Dance not only nurtures creativity and self-expression but also enhances essential academic and life skills.
Why Dance? Dance has proven benefits that go beyond physical development. It helps children develop:
- Creativity and Originality: Dance stimulates innovative thinking and problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: Performing and working in groups bolster communication and social skills.
- Critical Thinking and Collaboration: Dance requires teamwork and the ability to adapt quickly, skills that are transferable to academic settings.
Students who master complex rhythms are often able to make quicker and more accurate adjustments in both academic and physical activities. Children involved in dance typically excel in their studies, as it fosters originality and innovative thinking in their approach to learning.
3. Cursive Handwriting
Developing Elegant, Effective Writing Skills: Our Cursive Handwriting program is designed to teach children the art of joined-up writing, promoting fluency and a lifelong skill.
Why Cursive? Cursive handwriting has distinct benefits over print writing. It stimulates the brain, enhancing neural connections between the left and right hemispheres, which contributes to overall mental effectiveness and better academic performance. The program covers:
- Cursive vs. Print: Research shows that cursive handwriting enhances brain activity and improves writing fluency.
- The Importance of Starting Early: Early exposure to cursive helps children develop muscle memory and reduces the stress of re-learning later.
Quote to Inspire: “I saw that bad handwriting should be regarded as a sign of an imperfect education.” – Mahatma Gandhi
Why Learn Cursive Young? Teaching cursive from an early age maximizes learning potential and establishes good handwriting habits before they need to unlearn and relearn.
